    different shit...
Loads of shit to get finished before the end of the year dont we, website, portfolio, presentation...
If we all had photoshop, dreamweaver and protools on our computers at home id say everyone would have all the shit handed up on time!!

Done fuck all over the weekend, i was (still am sort of) dyin of the flu!! Was lukin forward to headin to the ball in 'Skye', which is a deadly place. Thats where all the balls should be held, whats the point of getting on a bus - pissed, and travelling all the way to Newry, or fuckin Carrickmacross, and all the way home again, still pissed! This celebrity DJ thing is a load of shite, 5 or 6 grand for a washed up celebrity to stand behind the decks for the night, and play the same shit tunes that the normal resident DJ would. I wasant there but I heard from a few people that he was booed' for parts of the night. For the same amount of money you could get a proper - recognised DJ, who DJ's for a living. Shitty 'celebrity' DJ's shouldnt be allowed DJ.

    w,end
Suppose il just talk about my weekend!

Had a good weekend overall, except for Friday when we got out a DVD, called 'Sholin soccer', a Chineese soccer film, i can safely say it was the worst fucking film ive ever seen!Afterwards i was actually embarrased that i watched it! Id say we were the only ones in extra vision to ever get that film, and the fuckin thing cost nearly six euro!

Done my gig then on saturday, deadly little venue in town called the 'leathean'. The gig went well, I played early so there was fuck all there, but the placed was packed as the night went on. I played some house and techno aswell as one of the other lads, and one played 'breakbeat' deadly stuff, good up for it crowd aswell!! Hopefully Il get called back soon.

Could hardly wake up this morning, just on the verge of falling back asleep but I managed to drag myself out of the bed, I could'nt miss Victor's class for the second week in a row!

Arrived in to the Carrols building on time for class when someone came in and informed us that Victor wasn't coming in for the class! Could have stayed in bed! Did'nt have class till 3 so we had most of the day off!

No fuckin food in the house either, yesterday the fridge broke and we had to cook all the food, what a waste! Would'nt mind if it happened on Thursday or Friday but it had to happen on the worst possible day -Monday! Most of the food we had brought up on Sunday is gone to waste.

Probably head down to the Malt House tonight for the Champions leauge - Chelsea v B. Munich! Should be deadly! Not that much work to get through this week, some of the stuff we get to do is enjoyable to do! I would hate to be someone studying buisness studies or construction or some shit like that. I know someone doing construction studies and he absolutley hates it!

Some people in the class complaining about the work we have to do, you'd swear they were being treated like slaves or somthing! When you look at it at the end of the day you just realise we have it so fuckin easy!

    back in college
First week back in college after the Easter holidays, going well so far this semester - not too much work to do so far but a mountain of stuff could pile up like what happened last semester!

The DJ club got loads of new equipment - decks, speakers ect..., so we are up in the college almost every evening playin a few tunes. The DJ club is a bit shit though, not one gig was organised so far, as promised by the head honcho {Declan} of the society at the start of the year, that there would be gigs organised all through the year! Over €5000 worth of DJ equipment lying idle, what a absolute waste of money!

This is a sample of the e-mail we recieved at the start of the year about Club DJ. None of the things said in this e-mail actually happened !!

"Holding a fortnightly class which will be two hours in
length to train you to be a proper dj (not a juke box with a mouth!).
Organising regular gigs in the college bar with a view to
holding a large event in the sports hall during rag week (subject to approval
    and insurance constraints).
Teaching the tricks of the trade and more importantly, how
    to get noticed.
Provide basic fundamentals of music production and
    technology.
Music Styles we will be catering for?
    >  > Dance (everything from David Holmes to Dave Clarke).
    >  > R'n'B, Hip Hop and Rap.
    >  > Commercial (CD djing). "

What a load of shite !!

    Ireland game
Yesterday, Tuesday, March 29th, myself and a few friends travelled to Dublin to see the friendly game between Ireland and China.

What a shit game! Dont think it was worth the journey up but we had already bought tickets a couple of weeks beforehand so we could'nt go to waste.

Got the 4:15 train up from Portlaoise {arrived half an hour late as usual}and headed for a pub near Temple Bar called 'Karma'. After a few drinks we headed straight for Lansdowne Road on the dart, and sold two tickets we had to spare.

The match was fairly boring but we had a good laugh on the day.

Got the late train home that night, highlight of a boring Easter holidays!

    first entry - 19-03-05

DJ Tiesto @ The Redbox, Dublin, 4th March.

Myself and two friends travelled <Co.Laois> to Dublin on the 4th of March last to see a gig in 'The Redbox' niteclub. Appearing at the Redbox that night was the world's number '1' DJ called - "Tiesto"!

Tickets for the night sold out in under twenty minutes, showing how popular Tiesto is, who is the only DJ ever to hold a sell-out concert to 25,000 people. He also played at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Olympics!

The place was absolutley packed on the night, over 1000 people in attendance!
Ticket touts outside were selling tickets for up to 120 euros!

It was probably the best night ive ever been out, Tiesto was brilliant, playing for nearly 3 hours!

It was all over at about 3 in the morning and we walked down Grafton St. and eventually found a cheap hotel in which we stayed for the night.
